In December 1988, Altus native Reneé Walker Gunkel opened her hometown firm. Over thirty-five years later, she still treats her clients as neighbors, and that single-attorney firm has grown to a statewide team with the same small-town heart.

Reneé is proud of her strong roots in southwest Oklahoma, set forth by her parents Neta and Nolan Walker. She and her husband Mickey have built their family in Altus for over thirty years, raising two sons, Preston and Dalton, daughter-in-law, Sarah, and a grandson, Sterling.
She is an active member of First Baptist Church of Altus, a former member of the Western Oklahoma State College Board of Regents, and a Jackson County 4-H Alumni Award recipient. She volunteered throughout her children's education in the Altus school system and has lived and worked in the community in which she was raised for her entire career.

Preston serves as Vice Chairman of the Altus Military Affairs Committee and sits on the boards of Preservation Oklahoma, the Southwest Technology Center Foundation, Leadership Oklahoma, and the Altus Metropolitan Area Planning Commission. He is also a member of the University of Oklahoma Athletics Council and a Civic Leader with the United States Air Force Air Education and Training Command.
His previous service includes Chairman of the Altus Chamber of Commerce Board, Board President of Main Street Altus, Vice President of the Jackson County Bar Association, and board roles with the Stephen E. Booker Child Advocacy Center and the Altus/Southwest Area Economic Development Board. He also served as Honorary Commander with the 97th Air Mobility Wing at Altus Air Force Base, JA.He has been named one of the state’s Top 40 Under 40 by Oklahoma Magazine.

Kendra founded Robben Law in Oklahoma City in 2009 and spent 15 years earning her place as one of the OKC metro’s most trusted names in estate planning and corporate law. A licensed CPA and formerly the President and CEO of a multi-state business holding company, she knows the business side of the table as deeply as the legal one. In addition to serving clients with a signature person touch, she is an Adjunct Professor at Oklahoma City University. Her husband Brandon serves in the Air Force Reserves, and they live in Oklahoma City with their two kids.

Ilana has spent nearly two decades guiding Oklahoma families and landowners through estate planning, probate, and oil and gas law. She spent 16 years as a Partner at Robertson & Williams before joining the firm in 2025, bringing hundreds of title opinions under her belt. Ilana currently serves on the board of Allied Arts OKC and the Metropolitan Library System Library Endowment Trust. She is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Oklahoma City and a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma City’s LOYAL Class VIII. Ilana and her husband live in Oklahoma City with their two kids and a golden retriever.
